Finding His Way

You know God is so awesome and so amazing in how He designs us! He is so amazing in how He create ways for us to know we are on the right journey….even as infants on our journey. One of the things I share with mother's in the breastfeeding class I teach is something I will never forget learning... After the birth of the baby a very small amount of amniotic fluid from the womb secretes from the mother's nipple and the baby is able to smell it. The sense of smell is heighten in a new baby and they use it to find the place of nourishment and nurturing. They use it to find and KNOW their mother. To help the new baby even more, the areola and nipple of the woman is darken so that the baby has a target that they can see....And a healthy baby without the help of anyone can be laid on a mother's belly and scoot itself to the mother’s breast and latch on. No help from anyone, if given the time and if not interfered. God’s plan! God's design! Amazing! Amazing set up! A miracle on display for us daily exhibited by a mother and her child! God’s plan...not only for the baby, but for our life….to help us find our way…be nourished…and ultimately KNOW Him. (💓38)
